1. Service messages and marketing
Order status, account security and messages about user-initiated applications differ from advertising new offers. A vacancy-category subscription covers the described category notifications, not all advertising. Marketing consent should not be required for applications or core account functions.
2. Proposed optional wording
“I agree to receive Workly messages about new vacancies and service offers through my selected channel. This choice is optional and I may withdraw it later.” Email, SMS and WhatsApp channels are stated and selected separately. Options are not preselected. WhatsApp or SMS must not be presented as operational channels before they are actually connected.
3. Evidence and opt-out
Implementation records consent time, text version, channel, purpose and source. An unsubscribe link or simple account setting must stop future sending. An opted-out address is not re-added. Reading this page or viewing test wording is not consent. This draft does not activate an unsubscribe link or consent log.
4. Public contacts and employers
A public email address, Workly registration or receiving a CV once does not automatically create marketing subscription. A specific vacancy application, instruction to distribute a CV and an advertising campaign are assessed separately. A campaign should not start before the source and basis for its mass-marketing list are checked. Employer campaigns require verification of authority to use materials and recipients.
5. Recipient groups and purposes
Candidates separately choose vacancy notices, career materials and platform offers. Employers choose CV or candidate notices, recruitment materials and commercial offers separately. Permissions relate to a specific channel and content category. This document is prepared on the basis that both groups have permissions, but actual evidence must be retained and existing permission scope checked before new sending.
6. Candidate consent wording
Candidate selection wording: I agree to receive Workly vacancy notifications for my selected category through my chosen channel. My supplied contact information and matching preferences may be used for this purpose. Career materials and commercial offers are approved separately. Sending my CV to employers is determined by a separate order or application. I may decline future notifications; consent does not guarantee employment. Selected channel: __________; category: __________.
7. Employer consent wording
Employer selection wording: I am authorised to represent the company and agree to receive candidate CVs and recruitment notices for the selected field at my supplied work contact. Received CVs will be used only for relevant recruitment. Workly advertising and paid-service offers are a separate choice. I may opt out of subsequent messages. Company: __________; representative: __________; channel and category: __________.
8. Evidence, version and duration
Consent records identify the person or authorised representative, contact, time, wording version, purpose, channel and collection method. Imported lists require origin and scope checks. Preselected boxes and undefined blanket permission do not replace a new marketing choice. Records must reflect actual choices. Permission relevance is reassessed after contact ownership changes or lengthy inactivity.
9. Opt-out and suppression
Opted-out addresses must be excluded from subsequent relevant campaigns. Reimport, presence in another database or a new paid order does not automatically override refusal. Resubscription requires a new clear choice. Minimal suppression evidence may be retained to prevent repeated sending. Already transmitted mail may not be recallable. Publication is not a claim that technical unsubscribe functionality has been implemented.
10. Message content and complaints
Messages disclose sender, purpose and applicable opt-out method. Misleading subjects, fabricated reply threads and clicks solicited through nonexistent jobs are unacceptable. Email, SMS and WhatsApp permissions do not automatically transfer between channels. Complaints trigger checks of the campaign, permission evidence and contact source; sending stops without a basis. Complaint contact: __________; response period: __________. Necessary account and security notices are not mixed with promotions.
