To assume full leadership and accountability for the construction execution of our HBI project. The ideal candidate is an engineering graduate with 16 or more years of progressive experience in project execution, encompassing both design and construction management of large-scale industrial, metallurgical, or mineral processing facilities.
Crucially, the candidate must have demonstrable, hands-on experience in the construction of Direct Reduced Iron (DRI) and Hot Briquetted Iron (HBI) installations, ideally involving licensed technologies such as Tenova HYL or Midrex. This role requires exceptional leadership to manage the owner's construction team, direct the activities of the General Contractor, and ensure project delivery adheres strictly to technical specifications, budget, and schedule deadlines.
Overall Accountability: Assume ultimate responsibility for all construction activities on the HBI project site, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
Team Leadership: Build, lead, and mentor the owner's construction team, including site engineers, construction managers, QA/QC specialists, and HSE personnel.
